My 1500 D 2tr15 engine pushes 1/4 of a cup of
water out of the radiator on start up for the first
4 revolutions of the engine. then stops does not do
it while cranking with compression release or after engine has ran for 3 or 4 seconds other than that engine runs good. (no bubbles in cooling water or
over heating does not act like a head gasket or cracked block. no loss of water after it has started.
(never noticed on any other diesels that I have
worked on (got any ideas about this) I thought
since it has no water pump you might notice this
because of no water movement and the intial shock
of firing through the wet liners might acount for this?
(does any body else notice this with this engine)??
