1500D axel case leak

Let me start by say I have ordered a service manual but received wrong one, so I have no clue what things are called or where they are located. I have noticed a small leak coming from the bottom of the axel case out of what appears to be a missing bolt or alignment pin hole from the towing attachment block that is bolted to the bottom of the case. Have not tried tightening bolts yet. Any ideas what this could be, not sure if part nomenclature is correct.

So here is a pic for you. It just so happens that I have mine off to replace some wheel bearings. There are four studs in the center and four bolts at the corner. These are drilled through into the axle case so you may be leaking from the threads. There are 2 alignment pins which I don't think go through into the case. So if one of them are leaking it may be the gasket. The gasket is not available from Hoye. I called them last week on it. Let me know if you have any questions.

Yep that's it, from the looks of it I think I'm missing a alignment pin. I'll make my own gasket if none are avail.

While you are planning this project it would be a good time to change the hydraulic fluid and clean the hydraulic screen. There are two drain plugs for the fluid. Not sure if you already know this or what maintenance you have already performed on the tractor. It might not be a bad idea to check the wheel bearings too. The outer bearings are sealed and the axle housing is dry. Which means they most likely have not been greased since the tractor was assembled. See the picture below for what I just found. The one in the picture was the good one. The other wheel bearing was a mess. The cage that holds the bearings in place had been destroyed.
