1500D high/low lever pops out of low

Does anyone else have this issue...

When I am pulling in 4WD Low range in first gear, when the tractor diggs in, the High/Low lever will pop out of low range.

The dealer that I purchased it from tells me that I may need to put a "bungee" on it. I don't really think that this is the greatest solution.

Any takers?

There is a detent spring & ball in the shifter that may need replacing.
