1500D repairs

Hello! new to this forum and a have some repairs to do to my 1500D.
1st i have to pull off hyd pump (disconnected loader with engine running DOH!) i haven't had to do this before. i assume i just have to disconnect hoses from intake and discharge and remove 4 bolts and it just pulls foward to remove? once i fix that i have a much bigger job. i need to pull front end apart and seee whats broken in the front gears... any tips? or do i just rip into it and see whats up in there? i do my own work on my trucks and boat but i never had any experience with gears like this and i don't really know what to expect (from the breakdown i saw there are lots of seals and bearings in there) this little tractor runs like a champ and i want to fix whats broke. and i kinda have to do it myself.
any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Might suggest you check out Hoye Tractor, a supporter of the forum. They have parts and repair manuals for your 1500 and probably any parts you may need.

You have a good dealer in Washington State. Buck at EFC can help you with parts and such. On some tractors Hoye has a great online parts manual, which will help you with figuring out what is on the inside. Do you have manuals for your 1500D? If not most of the dealers, Hoye, EFC, and LMTC will put you in business. The front ends are not as complicated as they are intimidating. Just take it slow and observe normal caution and you should be alright.

Thanks, ordered service manuel from hoye yesterday!
fixed hyd pump too, sheared key.. i got lucky i have the user manuel for the american version.
