Buying Advice 1500D

Looking at a 1500 D tractor with some implements
3 pt PTO Tiller, post hole digger, mower, and blade

Asking
$5300 for all or 3800 for just tractor

Really want a FEL, called Coldwater and her quoted 2200 delivered for the loader

Unit looks clean, think it is worth it? Missed on a 1510D earlier, someone went higher than I was willing due to the Yanmar 2 pt tiller
Any ways to tell if it is a VN import?

Ask questions about tractors history. Sounds like a fair price with the equipment if every thing is in good condition. :2cents:

Went and saw it nice unit, 76 hours on hour meter so who knows where from, could not find serial number
Did not know what all the levers do so couldn't tell where 4wd lever was versus others, could not get my foot past brake to reach throttle so had to use hand throttle
Also, throttle would not stay at full, when pulled it full would slowly slide back to idle speed

Did start fast and seemed to run clean liked the 1510d better, but did seem powerful

The 76 hrs is not likely. Could be 176, 276,976 or more.....anybody's guess. The price is fair with described attachments as long as everything is in working order. These are good little tractors......don't blame you for wanting the 1510d.....a little bigger is better. My 186d is the American sold version of the 1510d. Its been a good little machine.

Is it an easy fix when the throttle will not stay at full? Always goes back to idle speed
Also I need to find some sort of diagram, no clue what all the levers did though the gears were in numbers.... no Japanese on it really at all besides a side plate which said 1500D and some other figures

There's a rubber friction washer under where the throttle lever meets the dashboard. You can likely adjust the tension on it, or maybe $5 for a new friction washer. No big deal.

The friction washer is like $1-2 at Hoye and is an easy fix. If thats all you found thats not even an issue.

76 hours is not real. It will have more than that on it. Could be a recon or just that it was rolled over soon (the hour meter not the tractor)
