Hi all I just acquired a 1510D that needs some love...among other things it needs is to get the right brake shoes unstuck...I have remove the brake cover plate bolts and the linkage....This thing is STUCK, I have managed to drive in a scraper blade and a thin flat screwdriver being careful not to bend the cover...but I cant get the thing to break lose, it will now turn but I realize that is because I have the wheel off and the rear in the air....Any thoughts on where to go from here....I thought if I have to I can drill a couple holes in the plate to try and get some penetrating oil in there and to tap on the shoes a bit.....any thoughts.... Thanks...

Will the cam that activates them on the lower side of the cover move? That is where you need to focus your efforts I think as that is what moves the shoes out and into the drum. My guess is that its possibly not letting the shoes go back to rest? Try to tap it forward or to the front of the tractor with your deadblow to take the pressure off the shoes.
