155 loader

This is what I been waiting for to fit my 135d, even the right color. Now I just need to get it back here to Virginia. Any thoughts?
Just unfounded opinion! :D

That whole tractor, and where it is parked (junkyard out back), indicate heavy commercial farming where equipment is operated (probably by inexperienced and uncaring employees) until dead. 'Run hard and put away wet'. Then left out in the rain to rust.

I wouldn't buy that loader without personally inspecting that all its components are there and usable.

Plus freight from the west coast to the east coast for such a large object might be prohibitive.

I think a new Coldwater loader would be a better buy.

Maybe you could find someone nearby to drive out there and verify its complete. Absent that, I wouldn't touch it. (I'm 300 miles north of Fresno - so no. :) )

Very good & sound advice:thumbsup: Most the time you can tell if equipment has been taken care of or abused,

a friend of mine purchased a FEL for his tractor simply because it was cheap, (800.00).....
when he brought it home he called me over to look at it, The pictures from the ad did it justest, However! EVERY steel line on that thing had been mangled, bent out of it's original position, none were clamp in place,

Even though the remote was included I had to have new hoses mad up, ( dry-rotted/cracked/leaking ) was over 200, Now has 1000 and still not rigged to his tractor,
Next had to have a mount bracket made up, a welder charged I think it was 800 to do this,
Now he has 1,800 in the so called "Good deal loader", But he still needed a 150.00 adapter plate to run the hydraulics from his tractor to that loader, and a few special ordered Bolts, now he has approx 2-k in the loader,

I finally get it mounted to the tractor and all rigged up, everything seem good, except we realized the control has a float feature that we cannot figure out, we tried to bypass it but could not, the loader lifts and curled fine, but when letting it down it would slam to the ground, we tried to put a stop onto the control lever in attempt to try and manage the drop speed, this worked however now it was too slow,

My friend wound up removing the FEL from his tractor, and it now sits in his barn to remind him next time NOT to jump on the first deal that comes along,;) incidentally he probaby would sell it, Was originally to fit a JD and now it fits a Kubota,

I forgot to mention... about 3 weeks later another ad for a loader came up on CL, only this one was a direct mount from the same kind of Kubota tractor my friend has, the price for it was 1500, Yup! he was sick,
