Since buying my 54" CC middle of last year, I have had problems with the triple bagging system I purchased with it, from a box store. Since I knew ahead of time that I would have little or no help from them (that's the price you pay for what savings you may get), I endeavored to solve my own problems with common sense. Yeah, right.
The bagging system comes with a set of blades that are supposed to help the clippings on there way to the bags. The cut from those two blades were at a different depth then the untouched middle blade. Undetoured, I put the original blades back on the deck, attached the bagging system and away I went. I think the "bagging" blades are still on my back porch, rusting away...
Why the different cutting depth? I have a small problem with jammed clippings at the bottom of the chute, especially (and predictably) when the grass is long and damp, but I get a pretty good cut nonetheless. Something wrong with the blades?
Thanks for the great information I have already gleaned from this site. Hope everyone has a great summer coming up!
