How big of a blower can i run with my 155D? I found a used 50" and figured that would work but a few guys told me that is to much. I can run a 60" finishing mower and 48" tiller No problem so i cant see why i couldnt run the 50" blower. Let me know what you think.

I ran a 48" blower fine on my 155D, low range of course. In fact if conditions allowed, I kicked the PTO into 770.

ya i kinda figured i would have to use low which is fine with me, i was just worried about size. Well now i have to decide wheather or not this used one is worth it. I have only found 2 and they arent cheap, but i figure it would be handy to have one as we get bad drifting snow.

I wanted to let you know that I run a YM 1510D with a 50" Farmking 3 point blower. I typically run it at 770 on the pto. In light fluffy snow I run the thing in 2nd range to feed enough snow in it to make a nice roostertail. I've never run out of power with my little 18 horse Yanmar. The only problem I've ever had is with drifted snow when it packs real hard, I'll have to use the loader to break off chunks to keep the blower from riding up over the drifts. If they're not packed in hard enough to drive on I can push my blower through snow over 4 feet deep using low gear. I get snow falling over the top of the blower as I undercut the drifts. I can actually move more snow quicker with this little outfit than I could with an 1155 Massey with a 7 foot bucket. This thing is slick & maneuverable.
I bought my blower 3 years ago new from a dealer for 1900$

well i found a few blowers lately but think they want to much for them. Im gonna go look at them but ill have to see. I built a frnt plow but have to wait for the ground to freeze before i can use it. but well see as the snow drifts bad here thats why i want it.

Too bad you're not closer. I had my snow blower for sale on craigslist a few weeks ago. It sold for $500. A fair price I think for the condition.

Boy with the prices you are talking about it's no wonder I had more calls than I could count when I advertised my 48" Yanmar blower for $275.

Well new ones here are anywere from 2500-10000 depending on size and such. A new front mount kubota 54" is 6000 i think. not cheap at all.
