Just wanted to give anyone who cares a bit of help on a block heater install. I work for a Deere construction dealer and the PN AR87167 fits these 2 cyl tractors perfectly.

Where did you install that heater? I don't see any threaded ports on the engine we have here.

Edit: Haha- I found it! Someone has filled in the threaded hole on our block & ground it down. Looked pretty good. I didn't even notice.

Installed it today. Warmed up the lower hose in about 45 minutes.

I emailed you guys^^^^ last week about buying one and never heard back. (No big deal) So I looked up any of the small compact utility tractors I thought had this engine and one for a 650 jd works great.

We actually replied to your ticket in under 8 minutes but you didn't check back to read our reply.

Unfortunately my answer to your ticket was wrong anyway because I went out and looked at our block and there was no threaded port. I didn't think to check under a layer of bondo :)

Guessing it is the same as this one. BLOCK HEATER - 4 WATT - SCREW IN - INCLUDES CORD: Yanmar Tractor Parts
Yes. not sure why it shortened the link from '400 watt' to '4 watt'. That would take a mighty long time to warm up an engine! :)

Oh. Well I stand corrected. I wish I would have seen that. Are the replies in an email form or... ? I didn't see and email. Maybe it went to the junk mail folder? But honestly not a big deal. I will be needing the temp gauge kit or at least the fittings to do a gauge at some point.

4 watts would take forever. Lol.

Yes. You are sent an automatic email to confirm we received your request and also sent an automatic email every time we reply to your request.

Unfortunately, it is not uncommon for the emails to get snagged in a junk filter. I find all sorts of interesting emails in my junk mail filter. Just last week I almost missed an email from my long lost uncle (who happens to be a prince of some country I haven't heard of... what are the odds?). Turns out I'm his only living heir and he is sending me a boat full of cash! All he needed was my address, social security number, and bank account number. Now THAT would have been a terrible email to miss! :)

I see scrarism all over that last part. Seriously though I really am your long loss uncle. You send me your information and I'll see that funds get exchanged. ;)

Just joking here. Don't want the feds coming to my house!
