155D removing instrument panel

I have a 1977 155D. The wiring needs to ne redone and I want to take the instrument panel off so I can get at the wiring. I see 4 screws that I think need to be removed but I wanted to ask before I do something that I regret. Any help is appreciated.

Do you have the parts manual and the service manuals? If not, they are for FREE on the Yanmar Tractor Owners Group at the link in my signature.

Thanks for replying. I have the parts and service manuals. I just want to make sure the way to take the panel off is by removing the 4 screws on the fron of it.

These older yanmars are fairly straight forward on their wiring. I am not familiar with the 155 but it may be easier to fish wires follow either an existing wire or pulling string with an existing wire and then pulling wire with the string. Be patient on pulling wires. Other than access to the bottom side of the instrument cluster, from the way my 2002 is made, pull the dash would not change running wires.

Not sure how similar yours is to my 77 2210d but I just did some electrical work under my dash and I found that the wiring started getting real easy to work on as I started taking the switches loose from the dash so they could hang down...

Maybe post a pic of what ur looking at
