Hello. I am looking to purchase a 30ish hp tractor for some light landscaping duties. It won't see many hours because it is only for the instances when my m7060 won't fit. So for the little use I don't want to spend to much on one. This leads me to this ford 1620 that I found. It's a 1995 or 1996, not too bad of shape. Typical dents and dings. No leaks anywhere and the motor sounds real strong. The one thing that has stopped me from getting it however is a whine in the transmission. Now I know that all Hst trannys are loud and that's not it. This sounds like a gear whine and it is only in medium range. Low and high seem fine. Tractor moves along as normal in medium just doesn't sound great. Any insight on this problem. I am very mechanical, not afraid to split the machine if I do get it but more so wondering if the damage is severe enough to not bother fixing. Thanks
