I just took possession of my 1640 only took 3 weeks. I got backhoe and 6' bb. It's a HST cab. Beet juice in the tires.Been putting it to work or as my wife says playing....
I started with my gravel driveway. My stone pule was slightly frozen so I used my backhoe to break through and got to some soft stuff.
I also took of the backhoe and switched to my bb. The removal of the backhoe wasn't to bad. Installed the 3 pt arms and realized when I set my bb on the pallet I set it backwards. After I spun it around and got to hook it up , which I hope to get better at. Used the bb and attempted to level everything out. With practice I will get better as alot of this is all working through the learning curve.
I then went to hook up the backhoe which wasnt to bad. Not quite as simple as unhooking. I then dug up a old dead boxwood
So far I really enjoy it. It is strong and impressive for only 40 hp. I really like it. Heat and ac are awesome. Opening the rear window is nice. Feels really stable and you sit up high in it.
There are a few thing i need to get accustom to. The pedal in my opinion is way to close to the break pedal . The hst is slight noisy and whiney. Backhoe seat is way to close to the controls. I am a big guy and I bump the controls getting up and out. Plus pulling controls in towards myself is a little tight. No outlet or storage for a phone like on the 1635. Getting out sometimes if I leave it in a higher gear setting that gives a bump on the way out the cab. Lol
