I've bought a used 1648 last summer. It currently has 706 hrs on it. The issue is the 3 point hitch hydraulics are sticking at times when I try to raise the rear snow blower or change the chute angle. If I raise the blower and it doesn't come up, I wiggle one of the other remote levers and it will come up. I've got no service records so I dont know if the fluid and filter have been changed and intend to do shortly to get a baseline. I'm checkin the fluid level tonight but dont see any issues in the HST or the FEL.
Thoughts?
Also trying to find a good Hydraulic fluid to have some with me in case I need some tonight. I was told any TDH would work but dont have an English manual to confirm.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks,

It sounds to me if one of your remotes is causing the problem. I believe they are priority over the 3 hitch and if one is engaged fluid will not be going to the 3 point hitch. it may be as simple as linkage adjustment. Do you have a cab?

Yes, factory cab

LRover is probably correct. Make sure the remote lever fully returns to the neutral position and that the valve spool isn't hanging up (you can tell by listening closely).
