The box blade proved to be really useful, even though I had very little exposure to using one when I was a kid, I would buy one again especially for smoothing out my gravel driveway that is about 1/3 mile long. The first few passes and all I got from the the peanut gallery was "your suppose to make it smoother". ha Using it as a rear pusher is more work than it looks like, more practice needed.
The ansung 60" tiller I bought ran very well, actually better than I expected. I was smooth and the kubota was able to easily handle it. It made easy work prepping the ground for next season. I have about 10 hours on it at most. I would not hesitate to buy the same one again. I learned that there is a gentle start technique needed or you'll get a bunch of earth heaped up at the end of the row. It seemed like a quality attachment for sure.
The 12" plow took some work getting it to function well. It needed lots of weight to make it dig (rocks). Even on the lowest setting, it needed work. I still have to learn a few more setting tricks as I use it more (level the unit). But overall it did the job. Seemed like the 3200 had no problem pulling it despite the wetness of the ground. I hit a few massive rocks and managed to lose the coulter in the process ($). Seems as though the nut spun off and the coulter got burried, someplace, still have not found it. I must have been having too much fun to notice it.
The last attachment I used was the king kutter 60" pro bush hog. I think I gently beat it to a pulp, but not intentionally. The ground I cut into was much more challenging than I thought, and cutting 1" plus alders proved to hammer this machine. Not sure if I really like it yet, But it did the job I guess. It took lots of adjusting to get it just right, and the last time I used it I had it just right, and the blades seem to work effortlessly. I have the most time on the king kutter at about 20 hours.
That's what this rookie did on his summer vacation. It brought back lots of memories as a kid. I look forward to when I can do this on a more consistent basis. Kubota therapy should last me a few months before I need another dose.
