NH TC35D Loader, SS
I have a TC 35D ss with a 17LA loader. Is there a place to change the presure setting for the loader? If so could someone tell me where it is. The loader has a 72 in bucket on it and it go up slow with a full load of dirt. Thanks /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I assume you have checked the hyd oil level, but has the hyd oil filter been changed lately? Do you hear any abnormal noises? Is this something that all of a sudden happened or has it come on slowly? I would check the quick couplers and make sure they are plugged in all the way. If you can lift the load, but slowly, I will bet you have a hyd pump on it's way out. Also, how many hours are on your tractor?

Pressure lifts the load or weight.
Flow (GPM) is how fast it lifts.
If slow u have something wrong w/ flow.
Try some of Tech's checks and give us some more info.

Are you running at idle-speed? Slow idle = slow operation.
I usually run about 1500 for loader work.

I have 160 hours onthe tractor. The Hyd filder was changed at 100 hours. The oil level is fine, all connections are fine, and i run the engin speed at 2000 rpm when loading. Thanks /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Since you have only 160 hours on your tractor, why don't you get your dealer to check the hydraulics. His service department has all the correct tools and specs for your loader. If he finds something failing, he can replace it under warranty. My 16LA on my TC45D lifts a full bucket of sand with no problem until I get to the very highest portion of the lift when it slows down some. Are you lifting the load up to the height of a dump truck? I have just hauled several yards of sand from a creek bottom and spread it on my yard. I had no trouble at all lifting a heaping bucket full of dirt like the one in the attached photo.

The loader valve does not have a relief valve. The loader is protected by the main system relief valve. It is very possible that the pressure is not set at specs, but the only way to know is to install a pressure gauge. The relief valves can be shimmed. If the tractor is still under warranty have your dealer do the check and the fix or you might end up with problems collecting warranty if a future failure can be traced to an inproperly set relief valve.
