1700 Radiator

I'm trying to help a non-internet person find a radiator for his Ford 1700 tractor. A used one is preferred. Where should I look to find a replacement?

You can look at the link below. They do have 1-800 # that you can call as well. they are out of stock and had a re-cored for $450. Can you have a local outfit repair or re-core yours? I'd probably look at brand new after market radiator that had same fin spacing, # of rows and physical size and just go with that. T-stat can regulate engine temp with some small variation in Radiator size as long as heat transfer surface area is not very different.

My dealer had a local guy who did a custom core for about $300.

There use to be a few shops around here that just did recoreing, now there are none

It was never cheap, but much more affordable than these high prices for new.

I got lucky last month and had my 04 Jeep Grand Cherokee's radiator replaced under an extended warranty. Don't want to know what it would of cost me if I payed out of pocket.

See if a junkyard or service station can put you in touch with a radiator specialty shop. I find it hard to believe you can't get the old one re-cored.
