The 1700 "premium" models have either a 3 cyl 1.7 L or a 4 cyl 2.2 L Mitsubishi engine. Other than raw power output, are there other considerations such as torque curve, ease of maintenance, longevity, track record, or whatever between them?

I had a similar, but tier 3 version of the Mitsubishi 2.2L 4cyl in my LS R4047 (same as NH Boomer 50). I liked it every bit as much as this tier 3 Iseki in my 1648. The LS cold-started much better than this Iseki does.

Sorry, don't have technical data regarding torque curves and such...
