1715 idiot lights

Should the dashboard warning lights for oil pressure, temp and alternator light up when the key is in the on/run position?

Mine don't. Was wondering if it's like a car where they light up before starting to show that they work.

When mine didn't light, I looked under the dash & found they had bounced out of the sockets & were just dangling there.

I better check them out then ... bulbs probably burn out at the least. In fact I think the only lights I have working are the headlights.
