None of the instrument panel lights work on my 1715 ... so far I have only checked that the bulbs are good and the fuses good. Removed and cleaned bulbs and sockets.
Not sure exactly how they should work, but with the ignition key on, engine not running, nothing is lit and I can find no voltage to the oil pressure warning light ... which I assume would be lit with the ignition and engine not running.
Since there is no key "accessory" position, just glow plug to the left, off, on, start ... I figure there is no "all lights on" warning light check as seen on automobiles. But I'd think the oil pressure warning and perhaps alternator warning light would be on with the ignition in the run position and engine not running.
Are there any known problem areas that would cause this? I haven't pulled the dash and cleaned the harness connectors yet. Everything else seems to work fine, clutch interlock, lights, etc.
Thanks.
