Is anyone familiar with the old CC 1715? I bought it used and can't find much info on it. I do have an owner's man. It's not the hydrostatic model. The man. says to not shift gears while engine clutch is engaged or tractor is moving. Then it says the brake clutch pedal should be slightly depressed in order to change gears. These two statements seem to contradict each other since you have to push the clutch/brake pedal all the way down to stop. Anyway, the more I run the tractor the harder it is to shift gears whether I'm stopped or not until it is almost impossible to shift. I think this machine was meant to mow on flat even surfaces, am I right? I've made the adjustments in the manual several times with no improvement. Any advice on this ? I think the transmission is bad.

Thanks,

Wayne
