1720- do i buy it

I gave 7K to boot on a 99 1720 3 years ago...
It was valued @ 9K with only 245 one owner hours...
IMHO the tractor is worth what they are asking if it is in as good of shape as presented...

I only use my tractor to pull a 6' RFM...
It does it effortlessly...
The synchro-shuttle works great...

I've got 435 hours on the tractor now...
Not one lick of trouble in 3-1/2 years...

Good tractor, but too much money (as stated earlier, unless it is 4WD and w/ a FEL).

The 1720 has hydrostatic power steering, major differences in engine and fuel system design as well as faster glowplugs. The hydrostatic steering is a HUGE deal IMHO.

Power Steering is certainly great. I have not missed it in my lowly 2wd 1700 without a loader. I hang my carry all in the back or the scoop and it sure feels like I got a feather weight steering, almost effortless.
