Arregggghhhh this just DONT LOOK RIGHT. Hereç—´ the best pic mr tire will allow That vertical hole is one of the front lower ones not used. Itç—´ on the front end of the lower axle pad. Ahead of it os the spacer pipe for those front mounting bolts. You can see itç—´ got a golf head. Itç—´ tight to the spacer pipe I even loosened the rears so it could set flush. You can see the gap Itç—´ as big as my index finger 1/2? Are yours like that????? It just canç¨š be right :confused3: for strength and weight distribution!!!

Hi Drizler,

I've taken a few more pictures of my 1736. I may be wrong, but what seems to be different with my setup is there is a black colored bracket which is in the area where you are indicating your approximate 1/2" gap, this bracket on my setup attaches to the "chain" assembly which stabilizes the arms on my 3-point hitch.

You solved it! Yours has a full span plate. For whatever reason the earlier model like mine terminates just past the first set of bolt holes leaving that nasty looking gap. Thanks for the terrific pics and help figuring this out. I owe ya one!!! I also needs better camera than my iPhone 7 for close ups. Cheers:thumbsup:
