Oil & Fuel 1782 Diesel loses power

Could this be something as simple as bad stuff in the fuel? The oddity is it's intermittent.

It could be, might have some algie or water in the fuel. You can always empty and clean the fuel tank, then refill with fresh diesel, then flush the lines up to the injector pump, reconnect and fire it up and see what happens.

I may have found the problem, the fuel line from the inline filter to the fuel pump had little cut in it. I just fixed it tonight and haven't had a chance to use it yet.
Thank you all for the help, much appreciated!

That would do it, I just experienced the same thing on a grasshopper ZTR with the Kubota diesel engine, lines were so dry cracked it was sucking air into the system. Mike
