I've got a little Cub 42" zero degree that is desperately in need of new tires. I can't find that tire size locally anywhere. It "appears" Carlisle is the only maker but I'd rather not order and for the same price or less I can get a rim AND tire assembly from any number of places in 18-8.50-8 (that size appears to be growing on trees everywhere  ). My question is, will the extra 2" of width matter? It "looks" like it shouldn't but thought someone here may know for sure.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

you haven't even told us the machine model # and it's existing tire size....if it's a zero turn and has trolley front wheels, will the wider tires fit inside the forks?

It's the back tires, not the front. The front are fine (for now). Not sure of the model but that is the existing rear tire size, 18-6.50-8.
Thx

the 012 rtz 50 uses a 18x9.50x8,& the 54 a 20x10x8 not to sure if they will interchange with each other ,just go to cub.com look up the following models parts list and see if the rim size is diff ,never looked myself so don't know maybe other sizes may have a lower priced tire..the link given in previous post is a pretty good price
