1920 lift oscillating

I'm having trouble removing the lift cover. Got all the bolts out but it still wont budge.I'm sure that the gasket is probably what is holding it.I was going to use a block of wood and sledge to bump it but I wanted to make sure there was nothing connecting it on the inside that might get bent or broken if I do that.
