A complete rebuild is required on my 98 1920. Two pistons rings are shattered and have badly scored the cylinder walls. Want to get all the parts together before I pull it and bring to machine shop for resurfacing and turning the crank and boring it out to the next size. Is there a rebuild kit? Where are you guys going for parts? The closest shop is quoting some awfully high parts prices so figured I'd ask and see what advice the group offers.

I bought from Partspring.com. they had the best prices that I found but still high. Others swear by Messick's

Buying parts before the machine work is done exponentially increases the likelihood of having the wrong parts. Do it once, do it right. Let the shop tell you what the bore and bearing sizes are. Don't get in a big rush.
