Hey guys,
Love this forum. I've gotten a lot of good advice.
I have a problem with my 1991 1920 SSS. I was moving some snow with a backblade and it piled up pretty high. The tractor started jumping or lunging forward a few times. I lifted the blade and pulled forward and I noticed that the pick up and go I had, got up and left.
The engine is revving fine, but it takes more to move it forward or reverse. All the fluids are good and none of trouble indicators are on.
I let it sit for an hour, went back to drive it and its the same.
If I'm going up hill at the lowest idle point, the tractor will hesitate for about 5-10 seconds, then it will slowly creep up and gain speed.
Before this happened, I could climb this hill at the lowest idle point by just releasing the clutch on 1st gear.
Note, it is about 21 F outside.
Is my trans dying?
Thanks
