1925 John Deere Generel Catalog K - any ideas on value?

I have a 1925 John Deere General Catalog K, leather embossed cover, in very good condition (close to excellent except for a small scuff on one edge). It was a dealer's catalog, listing equipment as well as items needed for a dealership such as display racks for brochures, different catalogs, magazines, etc. as well as advertising resources available to the dealer. It is fascinating, as much for the pictures as for the insight into early marketing.

I have been trying to find collector sites to possibly determine the value, and so far all I have found is a price guide that was published in 1980 and valued my catalog at $450. Are any of you members of any collector's forums or know of any sources? I welcome any suggestions!

Hmmm.. same initials that I have.

But if me, I'd contact John Deere headquarters at East Moline, IL where they also have their Deere Museum. And I wouldn't be bashful about putting a good price on it if they ask if you are willing to sell.

I visited some Facebook forums awhile back and had some interesting feedback about this book. I am planning to sell it, but am almost reluctant - it has such gorgeous pictures in it! The colors are amazing. I thought I'd post a few here, just so you can see what I mean! (Sorry about the sideways ones..I had fixed that on my pc but apparently I didn't save them correctly!)
