First Post at TBN. Hello,
Has anybody found a modification repair for a broken or missing oiler on a 1952 8N side mount distributor?
I'm rebuilding my distributor and the oiler was missing and the hole packed with dirt.
I was wondering if a zerk fitting similar to the zerk steering box mod would work as an alternative to the $15 OEM luber?
Also, how does the lube fitting work? I know there is a wick down in the hole, but how does the bushing get the oil?
