She's a beauty.. much nicer than the 420C I had 25 years ago... but it had a custom FEL on it, and not the blade.

Man....that brings back memories.... It has been 50 years since I operated one. Sure wish my uncle had not given it away when my dad passed 40 years ago.

Yes, I enjoy it. Fun to operate.

Contemplating putting it up for sale as it doesn't make much sense for me to keep it.

Very nice. I sure loved my 40C but like a fool, I sold it.

There are many people that have sold off things that were in the family and then wished they hadn't. If it doesn't cost you anything to keep it and you have room for it why not keep it? Join an antique tractor club and exhibit it. Put a plaque on the side with you dad's name on it. It's part of your history.

That goes for my 420C, and the 420U, and the LA because I didn't have room to keep them... none had issues, but none could keep up with the chores at hand.

Well I for one am not sorry I sold my 40C. I enjoyed it but selling it let me buy the equipment I needed for my 955. The 955 later became a 4410. The 955 was more useful to me than the 40C.
