1954 naa clutch issues

Hello All
went to look at a 54 NAA yesterday. Looked in Fair shape ,had a loader too. All hydraulics seemed to work, hard starting, could not get it in gear ?? and it stalled when the clutch was depressed. was told it was sitting for a while. whats something like this worth
Any idea what the problem could be and how to fix it

it stalled when you PRESSED the clutch? or when you let the clutch out?

Sounds a split maybe it that tractors future. Although not impossible to do with a loader on it sure does make it a little harder. At least the power steering won't get in the way. Kind of hard to put a value on it without pics. You must also take into consideration weather you will do the work yourself or will be sending the tractor out to be repaired. If it will help on the value this pasted fall I picked this 640 "ran when parked", it needed a clutch and carb rebuild for $700
