Hello.
I just came across a 1958-59 Case 310B. It does not currently have the backhoe attached however, it did at one time. The tractor looks rough yet starts and runs perfectly. And the front end loader works well. The problem I have is that the 3 point does not work properly. When I say not properly. I mean for the most part, not at all. With the tractor running normally. It will not raise or even attempt to. I have notice, when I am driving the tractor from on lot to the other (using high rang in 3rd and 4th gear). The arms will raise up during the trip. Once they come up. I am not able to get them to go back down. The only way I have found they will go back down. If I shut the tractor down, they will seep down over time. I was going to go into the internal hydraulic pump to see if I can see anything. Before doing that, I would like to see if anyone has any ideas.
Thank you
