1961 massey

my brother has an old 1961 massey that we use on our old homeplace to dress roads ,push snow and pull a log or two. tractor runs ok , but has stopped going into reverse,all other gears work ,any suggestions on how to fix it ?

Could you tell us a bit more about this problem. Model of tractor, transmission that is has, and any other details. Does the shift lever not go into the reverse position? Does it go in and no reverse gear engages?

Had a similar problem on my MF-65 diesel. The fork was stuck. Had to remove the cover and repostion everything to neutral.
