1964 FORD 4000 seat pedestal

Could someone tell me what color the seat pedestal is suppose to be on a 1964 FORD 4000 with a restoride seat, black or blue, trying to put all things back original.

I painted min black.. but it is your tractor.. so.. up to you. I have a 951, and the paint ont he old seat was black, when I stripped it.. etc.
