I just got a 1969 Power King that I have been watching for 20 years sit at my neighbors house in the same spot. I pulled it home today. I got it for about 30 minutes worth of chainsaw work plus he gave me $100. He also gave me a disk harrow, a sod buster/middle buster and some un-identified implement that is in pieces.

Here are some pictures of the tractor before I pulled it home and after I pulled it home

Here is a link to the photos of the implement that I can not identify. Maybe someone can help me with that. The rectangle box really has me puzzled.

I'm hoping that the old Kohler will fire up for you after cleaning out the carb and changing the oil. Sometimes that's all they need, even after setting 20 years. Gonna take a little more to address the rust in the gears and drivetrain, but over all? I've seen a lot worse come back to life. I think you being in Texas is a plus, because no snow sitting on the machine, and probably less rain than I see up here in Pennsylvania. The tires don't even look too bad in the photos, but up close might be a different story.

Seems to me the tranny is what bugs you the most, since you have the most pix of it! Looks bad but definitely salvageable. Nice find, and he paid you? Small enough a project to actually finish, and usable! Good going.

You got lucky. Great find.

I couldn't open the link to the unknown attachment.

The tranny has cleaned up nicely. It is a Borg Warner and parts are still available so I am going to rebuild it anyway just to be done with it. Thank Yall for the responces

I have been asking $500 for the last couple of days. I really need a 3 point tiller more than I need that Power King. If I dont get it in the next couple of days I am just going to restore it as planned. The $500 price includes the implements.

I've got a '73 model and it runs great. About the only thing I've had to do is rebuild carberator and pretty much the entire hydraulics. Pump failed then through a mistake on my part broke the seat in the loader control valve (yep it has a factory FEL) and the hydraulic tank leaked (used the loader arm support for tank). Finally had to replace a couple of spindles on the MMM as it was just getting to loud and it also started to bind up. Still use it for some of the smaller jobs around the ranch and home. Looking to fabricate a rear PTO one of these days. I know I'll have to get a gearbox to reduce the speed of the motor but when done I should be able to mount a "few" implements on it.
