Hello ,
I just purchased a1977 Ford F700 dump truck. I need to replace the master cylinder and both power brake boosters. I can get a master cylinder but the brake boosters are another story. This truck will be used primarily on my property only. I called multiple places and it seems the only option is rebuild them at a cost of 1600 dollars., Can I eliminate the power boosters or maybe just do one for both front an rear brakes? Remember this will not be a road truck.
I also came across this option which adds a whole new master cylinder ,vacuum booster and pedal assembly eliminating the two hydro vac units.
Universal Hanging Pedal Assembly (Automatic Transmission System)
To see the complete assembly choose the 8" diaphragm( upgraded to 9" dual) and 1 1/8" bore.
