I have an 84 Ford 4610 diesel. Does it have a fuse block? I am in the process of painting it and painted the fenders and reinstalled tonight. None of the lights worked but I was getting voltage to the plugs so figured it was a bad ground because of all the paint on the fenders. I ran a jumper ground wire from one of the lights to the frame and some of the lights came on. When I was testing the ground jumper with the headlights on the front of the fenders the ground made a spark and then I heard a little pop and all the lights went dead...even the backlighting for the instrument panel which was on up until this point.
Is there a fuse blown somewhere, or a fuse box? I can't find one anywhere. I looked behind the battery and didn't see anything.
//edit: I did find what looks like an inline fuse above the gas tank under the cowl but it's a tight reach in there. According to the schematic that's a 3 amp fuse, but I can't figure out who it comes apart and I don't want to break it forcing it. Anybody know how this comes apart?
