Symptoms and History.
Tractor has two sets of SCV's on the right side with two operating levers. Recently the one that operates the bucket would travel well past it's stop point. As if the E-clip came off in the lever assembly and not allowing it to automatically return to "hydraulic-neutral". So you needed to manually return it to neutral and find the middle. This was about 3-4 hours ago...now with it getting colder out...there is a shudder and slow hydraulics for both raising and operating the bucket. Fluid was about a gallon low and was corrected. No change. Tractor has the round filter than hasn't been replaced. Could the E-clip be floating around in there causing my problems? Filter clogged? Air in lines? Snow isn't sticking so it isn't too cold. 3point works as normal. Loader operated fine prior to this. I concider myself fairly mechanical, but I am new to hydraulics. Any help and comments would be great. Tractor is an 1985 with 1200 hours MFWD. Thank you.
