Hey there! New to the tractor world here.....I purchased a 1986 JD 750 with a loader and a 7 backhoe this weekend with 900 original hours for 7k
I have to do a clutch job on it as the throw out is not hitting the pressure plate all the time (so it seems)....it seems to work sometimes if you pull the clutch lever all the way back and other times it pops and pushes right past the pressure plate it seems.
I just bought the tractor last weekend so do not know much about it, but I am assuming something is wrong with the pilot, the throw out, or the pressure plate fingers themselves. I purchased a complete clutch kit and I will be replacing everything while I am in there. Any insight and or a service manual would be greatly appreciated!!!!
