1987 Case 245 sold at Auction

I sold, I'm an auctioneer, a Case 245 at auction August 25th. It had 83 hours on it yes, 83 hours and it looked like it did. The engine wasn't even dirty the tires still had the rubber **** on them. It sold for $5750. I thought it would sell between $4500 and $6500 and actually more towards $6000. This tractor looked brand new.

I saw a Massey 231 (45 hp) go for 10500 at auction Monday. It had 45 hours, looked brand new. The 2 wheel drive may have kept the price down, but the guy who got it farms for a living, so I expect he might have to get a new hat. The one on his head was green and yellow.
