Can anyone give me any info on this tractor . there is one in town for sale has 1400 hrs on it . what hp is it and were they reliable? thanks for the help ,Joe

Those Longs are Romanian built clones of a Fiat design. UTB tractors have always had mixed reputations. Like Belarus it seems a very good dealer made the difference originally between a good one and a bad one. 42 pto hp.

Some people here have Universal 445 (equal tractor as Long) with over 10000hrs without engine failure. 1400 hrs is almost new. I have equal motor on my tractor with 7000hrs, still untouched.
As Woodbeef told, you can get great tractor or lemon.
Anyway, this is not CUT, and can be used very hard.
