Buying Advice 1989 Ford 1920

Looking at a 1989 Ford 1920 with 1768 hours, includes push blade and 72 inch bush hog. The tractor is in great shape, clean diesel engine (said it was 38 hp?) hyrdraulics work great, original paint, etc... The owner is asking $9K for it but seems a little steep, although not an expert... Can anyone advise a newbie if this is a reasonable price?
