Are you sure it's not a 310D instead of 301D?

You are correct it is a 310D, that's why I never could last as a secretary!

My knowledge on JD industrial tractors is limited but from viewing 310D parts catalog it appears that MAYBE the reverser can be accessed without splitting tractor
