Im looking at buying a used 1715. Just need to know if it has live pto? Also is this tractor made in the us or overseas?
It has a problem with the pto slipping.I s this a major cause for concern?
Any help would be appreciated.

1)1715 seem to come in two flavors, live or transmission driven. There are several current threads that covers the subject matter in NH operating. Why don't you ask the owner or try to check it out.

2) Overseas, Japan, Shibaura manufacturing.

3) yes. splitting a tractor not much fun if you do it yourself and at least $1500 labor plus pricey parts.
