New Holland 1920
I have a 96 1920 4wd tractor that we have had since new. Has 700hrs on it and been a great machine. I notice one thing when running the tractor that drives me crazy. At low speeds and engine rpm, depending on the wind direction the exhaust from the side exit pipe blows directly into the operator. I dont mind the smell of diesel exhaust but its not good stuff to breathe. I know the newer new holland tractors route the exhaust differently and dump it out the back. Has anyone here modified there 1920 or similar model exhaust?

All you guys probably know what my current factory exhaust looks like but if not its similar to this

You can buy original parts to convert your tractor's exhaust to horizontal rear discharge. If you have a backhoe it will annoy you more than the vertical version does. It may even if you don't have a backhoe.
