I bought a 97 1235 with 91 hours on it two years ago when I bought my property. I've used the heck out of it with little to no issues until late this summer, now at 250ish hours.

The HST seems to "slip" into gear from neutral. It has the neutral safety switch so unless I am in the seat, it will shut down. I have to hold the gear/range selector in the right spot to start or it will vibrate off and not let me crank. Additionally, I can no longer select the turtle mode as it seems to be out of reach for the limits of the selector.

I have traced the range selector lever down to the case and there are no adjustment bolts, only a cotter pin that attaches it to the spindle. In the poor excuse for a manual put out by agco, there is no mention of any adjustments or even any diagrams of the internals that would help me figure out where the adjustments are.

Does anyone have an idea what I might be dealing with? I am a DIY guy and tend to do all the work on my equipment myself, however I don't like going in blind.

I appreciate any help or advice!

Thanks,

Jake

I would suspect a spring, pin, or detent issue inside the case if your linkage doesn't have any slop or external adjustment.
Agco doesn't seem to make parts diagrams for their compacts readily available on the Internet -if you can't find one via Google I would stop by your local mf parts department and get them to print it out
