But wait, there's more! When I asked to see the craigslist item from a very very irish-american named individual here's the reply i received:


Hi I'm Michael, and I want to tell you that the New Holland TC-33D Compact tractor, Woods 72 mower is still for sale, like new, seldom used, never damaged, fully loaded, first owner, and comes with a clear title. I sell because in the past few moths we've tried to develop a family business but unfortunately the things didn't work the way we've expected and now I am at one step from losing my market, so I've decided to sell my tractor. Currently the tractor is in cargo shield at the shipping company ready to be sending at your place. Because currently I working on a drilling rig in the Gulf of Mexico the transaction will be made under Live Shipping Company protection plan for our safety's because I'm not very familiar with the internet transactions and this company will act as a third party between us.
The last price is $ 4,600 including shipping.
Please reply me only if you are interested. I welcome you buying this nice tractor as it will make you very happy.

if it sounds too good to be true, it's probably 100% backed by a scammer!

This tractor must get around. I see the same one listed in Seattle Craig's List. The funny thing is, this is about the fifth time I have seen that same picture. At least they could rotate their picture more

LOL!! There has been an ad bouncing on and off Craigslist-Detroit using the exact same wording and procedure, but for a New Holland tractor. I had heard of this scam but I responded a couple of times, sounding very naive, just to see how far he would push it. He finally stopped responding. Must be a lot of tractors for sale out on that drilling rig!

What a bunch of charlatans. This goes along with an offer I had from a Nigerian businessman for millions... The types of offer I had to refuse Just for the fun of it I emailed a guy with a fantastic deal on a tractor, I told him, all is well and I like what I hear, but I double the price if you brought the tractor to my door step as It was advertised and I buy it cash after a title search. Never heard from him
