We wanted to clear a walking loop trail thru a section of brush and woods on our property. So, on the first day it stopped raining, we decided to tackle our 1st project with the new tractor! This pic shows where we started...

The ground was wet enough to pop most of the smaller stuff pretty easy and we began to open up some of the lightly overgrown ares first...

Some ares were real thick, a lot of brush and tough, thick vines...

Some of the vines were 6" an larger in diameter, and they had killed and dragged down quite a few trees...

Hmmmm looks to be a bit muddy, I hope the walkers of this trail will has boots on /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Are you burning the vines or ???

I had a huge vine problem as well. If not already on your list, I would recommend getting some good loppers and cutting the vines that are climbing all the trees before they do any more damage. After they're cut off you can try to pull down (it's kind of fun but dangerous as things fall out of the tree... wear a hardhat and goggles) or just leave there and they'll come down on their own.
