2:00 am and can\'t see

Wow,

We got 14" of snow last night or up until this morning and now we have 50 mph winds. It's two am and I have to take my wife and daughter to the airport. We are leaving an hour or so early cause I know I won't be able to drive over 30.

The big light in our back yard has dissappeared to a little spot.

But I will be back?

Hope your drive was safe. I am also surprised the airport would be open. I just wish we could get some of your weather. We have had temps in the 60's this week, major river flooding, all the ski resorts are closing... indefinitely due to lack of snow and now heavy rain. We have another tropical system coming in this morning with major rains predicted and flood warnings in basically all counties of western Washington. This system is supposed to sit over us through Monday.... Strange weather....

Well, I made it. I got back around 6:30 this morning. The airport was open and my wifes flight left only 10 minutes late. As the morning came the winds did die down alot so my trip home was not as bad as going up. Just one area in the Cannon Falls area where the wind and snow was going pretty good.
